Shenfield is a small town located to the east of Brentwood. Shenfield is well situated in respect of access to the national road network with the A1023 linking with the A12 at Mountnessing, to the north-east, at Brook Street to the south-west and meets with Junction 28 of the M25 London Orbital Motorway.
